Permanent, Full Time – Shift Days & Nights (7-7), Shift Pattern detailed below

NG Bailey Facilities Services are currently recruiting an experienced Shift Electrical Lead Maintenance Engineer to work in the UK Headquarters on behalf of an American multinational technology company that specializes in consumer electronics, computer software, and online services. The world's largest technology company by revenue and, since January 2021, the world's most valuable company.

The Shift Leader will have experience working in a corporate environment, acting as lead to at least 1 other Engineer and providing exceptional service in a client facing role.

The Shift pattern is Days and Nights. (7-7 -> 12 Hour Shifts).  

The Shift pattern is 7 shifts in 14 Days which repeats itself, (3 Days, 2 off, 2 Days, 3 off, 2 Nights, 2 off, 3 Nights, 2 off, 2 Days, 3 Off, 2 Days).

Some of the key deliverables in this role will include:

  • Lead your team in provision of excellent service delivery by monitoring service performance, taking corrective action when necessary across the client’s premises and escalating to the Contract Supervisor.
  • Deliver Multi Skilled PPM relating primarily to Building Services Plant and Systems
  • Checking completed work and documentation by Technicians and ensuring compliance with current legislation.
  • Be proactive with regard to preventative maintenance and good site husbandry
  • Cost, manage and complete Reactive Works identified through PPM work undertaken.
  • Develop excellent working relationships with our client.
  • Provide “out of hours” call out cover.

What we are looking for:

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Maintenance engineer who has worked in a commercial / office environment providing building services maintenance and can delivery exemplary customer service to our clients when on client’s premises. You will have experience of leading a team / Supervising

  • Detailed knowledge and experience of electrical plant servicing, repair & installation.
  • Servicing, fault diagnosis & repair knowledge of HVAC systems & their controls.
  • Working knowledge of mechanical plant and equipment, including isolation.
  • City & Guilds Part 1 & 2 / AM1 / AM2 (or equivalent qualifications)
  • Level 3 Electrical Qualification
