Summary

NG Bailey Facilities Services are currently recruiting a Electrical Shift Engineer to carry out routine maintenance and repairs to plant, equipment, the building fabric and ongoing client project works.

Day Shifts ONLY 0700-1900

Working pattern  2 on 2 off 3 on 2 off 2 on 3 off, - Repeat

Shift 1 - 5 Days work

Shift 2 - 2 Days work

Some of the key deliverables in this role will include: 

  •  A key success factor in the Shift Engineers role is communication, particularly in reporting plant problems/failures that may impact on the client’s business. It is essential that the details of all plant problems/failures are communicated to Shift Leader immediately.
  • Ensure that all plant and BMS checks are completed on time, and all problems found are recorded and communicated to the Shift Lead or Supervisor.
  • Deliver PPM relating primarily to Mechanical & Electrical Building Services Plant and System’s in-line with agreed programmes / SLA's in order to meet Client and Statutory Compliance.

 

What we’re looking for:

An experienced Electrical Technician working to a high standard of building services provision (planned and reactive) within a commercial occupied environment and with the utmost regard for customer service this is a role for you.

 

You will hold current qualifications to work as a Electrical engineer including;

  • Completed a recognised Electrical Apprenticeship (Preferred not Essential)
  • City & Guilds Electrical discipline competency Parts 1 & 2 or equivalent.
  • 18th Edition
  • And be conversant with Electrical Plant related Building Services PPM's
