NG Bailey IT Services are looking for a Project Delivery Manager that will successfully manage and oversee the implementation of Projects across our Structured Cabling / Wifi / Datacom defence contracts

The Project Delivery Manager will be responsible for the delivery of the integrated IT infrastructure and managed services.  They will work closely with Project Managers, Project Engineers and Commercial to ensure the delivery of projects on time and in budget. They will initially lead on the DBI (Defence Business Internet) projects being delivered on behalf of BT across MOD properties.

Some of the key deliverables in this role will include: 

• Provide leadership for the Project management team, develop and motivate to maximise the potential of the team and the individuals within
• To ensure Projects are delivered in accordance with the company and customer processes, procedures, and statutory obligations
• Provide appropriate input to all monthly reviews in line with the business procedures to ensure that the senior management have full knowledge of the completion and financial status of the Portfolio Delivery
• Maintaining positive client relationships by instigating Project review meetings, site visits and maintaining regular contact, as per individual needs. Act as a point of escalation, taking ownership of Project issues and seeing them through to completion

What we’re looking for:

The Project Delivery manager will have previous experience working in the IT Datacom and Structured Cabling Market and able to demonstrate evidence of project delivery / project management in this space.

You will have experience working on Defence contracts with detailed knowledge of JSP 680 and JSP 375, SCIDA regulations and applicable MoD standards.

The role requires Security Clearance, if not held currently as a condition of employment you will be required to obtain through our support in the application process.

The individual will ideally be based to have access to our Reading office where our PMO is situated, but travel is required where needed across client premises.
